Recreational Side Mount Training in March

2012 was a great year for side mount diving. With PADI's release of the Tec Sidemount program and followed up with a course geared at recreational divers, sidemount is getting lots of exposure. Currently all our technical students are completing the courses utilizing side mount configuration. And why not? The sidemount configuration makes so much sense. The redundancey, the comfort and the stream lined profile makes sidemount the perfect choice.

We have a recreational sidemount class coming up March 1-3 and we are planning on conducting the openwater dives in Santa Rosa New Mexico at the Blue Hole and Perch Lake. The vis is great and it's always nice to get away for a few days.

I've found that the recreational sidemount course is a great way to prepare for the more intensive tec sidemount and Tec40-45-50 courses. You will learn the latests techniques and configurations. We have  3 sidemount sets that can be rented for the course. I recommend getting set up in your own gear to get the most out of your course. We will work to optimize your gear to work for you. If you are training in your own gear you will end up with a highly personalized set of gear by the end of the course.

If you are interested in preparing for one of our tec courses we will have an extra day to hone skills specific to the tecnical diving path.

We are limiting the course to 6 students so sign up early.  Call us at 972-416-8400
